Dundee MakerSpace Spaceship 1 (DMS1).
This is Dundee MakerSpace’s first Space project and involves lifting a payload of digital photography and video equipment to a height of circa 120,000 foot using a weather balloon.
The mission hopes to record the entire mission from launch to successful landing and recovery of the equipment and media, which will hopefully capture Space Photography of Earth complete with detail of the curvature of the planet.
This project has a number of challenges and is our most ambitious to date.
