Build your own pollution sensor workshop

May 28 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

£5 – £40

Further info: https://luftdaten.info is a network of citizen science pollution monitors around the world. Dr Peter Cock and Dr David Martin are running a ‘build your own sensor’ workshop. No technical skills are required – if you can build Lego then you have the skills. You will need to preregister at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/luftdaten-pollution-sensor-workshop-tickets-60788460923 and there is a charge of £40 to take away your completed sensor, or £5 if you are just wanting to build one for someone else to install. Money will be taken on the night.

What will we do? We will explain how it works, discuss where to place it and then piece them together. We will then show you how to connect it up to your home WiFi and register it at luftdaten so you can contribute to the data gathering.

The workshop is scheduled to run for 2 hours and tea/coffee will be provided.
